Arza Winery
The Arza Family winery is one of Israel’s largest and oldest wineries whose annual production is four million bottles which are very popular and available in wine stores and supermarkets throughout the country. In the last few years, the company has integrated a new series of quality grape varieties and has thus expanded its production line to exciting new labels making it one of the leading wineries in the country.
The Shore family has been producing wine in Israel since 1847, first in the Old City of Jerusalem and more recently on the outskirts of the city in Mishor Adumim. It is no exaggeration to say that wine production has become a tradition in the family, the current owners and managers are seventh generation of uninterrupted descendants from the family patriarch Avraham, who founded the company after emigrating from Russia.
The wine making process is headed by chief winemaker, French born Philip Lichtenstein, a graduate of Agronomy specializing in Viticulture and Enology at the University of Montpellier.
The Arza label appears on five different wine varieties:
Charisma: Cabernet Sauvignon, Emerald Riesling, Merlot, Sauvignon blanc.
Cadenza: Red, Dry white.
Table wines: Red, Rose, Semi dry white, Semillion.
Desert wines: Red, White
Sweet wines: Moriah, Moriah light, Navel David, Ginosar,
