Kosher Wine Benefits
Red Wine elegant and healthyThe bizarre paradox of the French populace having much lower heart disease and prostrate cancer though mostly following terrible eating habits has been solved. The French drink wine, Red wine.
The antioxidant effect of phenolic substances in red wine is what causes the lower incidence of coronary disease in populations with high wine intake. Intense studies have shown that the higher the polyphenolic content of a beverage, the greater was its antioxidative effect. Red Wine has a high polyphenolic ingredient to it giving it the antioxidative effect that hinders the advance of heart disease. In addition there have been studies that claim that consumption of Red Wine four times a week significantly reduces the chances for prostrate cancer. The International Journal of Cancer published this research study saying prostrate cancer could be cut by 50% this way. In fact this study has shown a decrease of 6 % of prostrate cancer for every glass of Red wine consumed. The anti-dixodant they found was called Resveratrol which is found in abundance in the skins of Red grapes and also in a lesser degree in peanuts and raspberries. This antioxidant helps sweep cancer causing radicals from the system. It also blocks certain enzymes by being an anti-inflammatory agent. These types of enzymes can cause cancerous tumors. It also has been found to promote apoptosis, or programmed cell death, which helps rid the body of cancerous cells. Last but not least it may act as an estrogen, reducing levels of circulating male hormones such as testosterone that can enhance the growth of prostate cancer. The only unclear part of all these benefits is the relative ignorance in many circles of the clear almost irrefutable evidence of the health of Red Wine consumption. The reason for this is that it is relatively difficult to tell people to drink moderately. That message is difficult to convey and with some even more difficult to execute.
